Manage and Uninstall Extensions

You can uninstall your Google Chrome extensions by following the instructions below:

• Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar.
• Click Tools.
• Select Extensions.
• Click Uninstall for the extension you’d like to completely remove.

How to arrange your extensions on the browser toolbar

Just drag extension icons next to the address bar to rearrange them on the browser toolbar.

By expanding the extension icon area, you can see more extension icons on the browser toolbar. Click the right border of the address bar and drag it to the left. You can also extend the address bar by dragging its right border to the right, to hide extra extensions. You can click the » button next to the spanner icon to see your extra extensions (if they display icons).

Managing all your extensions on the Extensions page

Follow these steps to open the Extensions page:

• Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar.
• Select Tools.
• Select Extensions.

Adjusting extension options

Some extensions may have additional settings that you can edit. On the Extensions page, click the Options link (if available) for the extension to see these settings. If you want to your extensions to show up in incognito windows, expand the extension details by clicking the triangle icon next to the extension, then select the “Allow in incognito” checkbox for the extension.
Sync your extensions across multiple computers
To easily access your extensions no matter what computer you’re using, sync your extensions to your Google Account.

How to temporarily disable extensions

• Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar.
• Select Tools.
• Select Extensions.
• On the Extensions page, click Disable for the extension you’d like to temporarily remove.

You can go back to your list of extensions at any time to re-enable disabled extensions. You may need to refresh the page in order to use extensions you have re-enabled.
