Google Chrome Features

What are Google Chrome Extensions?

Extensions are extra features and functionality that you can easily add to Google Chrome. By using extensions, you can Customise Google Chrome with features you like, while keeping your browser free of things that you don’t use.

Here are some of the reasons why extensions may be important:

Get bonus information about a page.
Extensions can enhance the page that you’re on with relevant links and information.

Get timely notifications.
Some extensions add buttons next to the address bar to let you know about certain events.

Do things with fewer clicks.
Some extensions act like shortcuts.

Visit the Chrome Web Store at http://chrome.google.com/webstore to find interesting extensions. Once you find something you like, install it to try it out.

  1. I was just wondering if there was any way on Google Chrome to set an “ask before doing…” so that when you x out of one page it asks if you want to close all pages? On Internet Explorer you can set it so that you don’t close all browsers by accident and I am so used to IE that I often X out without thinking and it closes all the pages I have open!
